 Old House Gardens

Old House Gardens is the premier source in the United States and North America for old and rare heirloom bulbs. Many of their rarest bulbs come to them directly from Hortus Bulborum – the only source from which these bulbs can be acquired in very limited quantities. Only Peter C. Niissen in The Netherlands comes close to offering an equal assortment of old and rare tulips, and they do not sell or ship to the United States.

Old House Gardens is a mission-based business – striving to educate discerning gardeners and to provide them with a quality source of bulbs which they can plant, enjoy and help preserve in their own gardens.

Old House Gardens hosts a beautifully organized, written and illustrated website, with much useful information. They also produce a gorgeous catalog that is worthy of being saved as a reference tool. In addition, Old House Gardens issues a monthly email newsletter. The website, print catalog, and newsletter cover Spring Planted Bulbs (which include dahlias, daylilies, gladiolus, iris, and diverse other) and Fall Planted Bulbs (which include crocus, daffodils, hyacinths, lilies, peonies, tulips and diverse other).

Founded and managed by Scott Kunst, Old House Gardens is renowned for the quality and personal service they provide.

Scott Kunst is a member of the Advisory Board of Hortus Tulipus and OldTulips.com.
